BAM Construction has won a £13m deal to refurbish Newcastle College’s Parsons Tower.
The national contractor, which has offices in Gateshead, will undertake the major transformation of the 1970s tower block, giving the teaching block a contemporary facade as well as carrying out an internal remodelling, and upgrade of the mechanical and electrical services.
